Nestle Violet Crumble Chunks
A renewed format for an old favourite is on the cards with iconic Violet Crumble chocolates going back into bags.
Family-owned Robern Menz took over the Australian ownership of Violet Crumble in 2018 and has announced that the chocolate treat will be available in 170g bags for the first time in nine years.
The Violet Crumble bag format was withdrawn by previous owners Nestlé in 2010 and Robern Menz says it was eager to reintroduce it when it began production from its Adelaide factory last year.
“There’s been huge consumer demand for the return of the Violet Crumble bag since it was withdrawn nearly a decade ago, so we’re thrilled to be able to bring this format back,” Robern Menz CEO Phil Sims said.
“It’s a great choice for those wanting to share the snack with friends, or exercise some portion control if they don’t want to indulge in a 50g Violet Crumble bar.”
